The short version
We use no tracking cookies, no advertising cookies, and nothing that follows you to other websites. That is why you are not being asked to accept anything.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let a site remember things between pages and visits.
What we use
Strictly necessary storage only. We store your progress through the Finance Health Score locally in your own browser, so that refreshing the page does not lose your answers, and we use security tokens to protect the site. These are essential to providing the service you have asked for, and under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations they do not require your consent.
Nothing we store is used to profile you, and none of it is shared.
How we measure visits
We use Plausible Analytics to understand how many people visit the site and which pages they read.
Plausible sets no cookies and creates no persistent identifier. It does not collect personal data, cannot follow you between sessions or across other websites, and is hosted entirely within the EU. Everything we see is aggregated — visitor counts, page views, and which sources traffic came from. We cannot identify you from it.
Because it collects no personal data and sets no cookies, no consent is required and none is requested. We regard that as the right way round.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies and site storage through your browser settings. If you block essential storage, parts of the site — including the Finance Health Score — will not work properly.
